The company has introduced BenQ Ideacam which is basically a combo of webcam and document cameras designed to cater to the needs of creative professionals who require high-quality video conferencing and presentation solutions.BenQ Ideacam is a specialised that offers multiple shooting modes and exceptional video quality is required to unlock creativity, even in a WFH setup. The Ideacam has many special features that allow users to showcase their creativity with this simple yet powerful dual-mode desktop webcam. The ideacam series includes two models – ideacam S1 Pro and ideacam S1 Plus – each designed to offer superior performance and flexibility in a single device.

The standard camera mode is a portrait, but desk view makes it simple to capture the desktop to show items like documents. It is simple to switch between portrait and desk view modes thanks to the BenQ webcam's sophisticated auto flip for desk view mode, which auto-corrects after flipping, rotating, and auto-focusing the image. One can put on the magnetic Macro lens and switch to Hand Held mode to get extreme close-ups or unusual camera angles that a static webcam cannot.
The BenQ Ideacam features an 8MP Sony sensor with a resolution of 3264×2488 pixels. Ideacam offers close to 4K clarity, which is approximately four times sharper than 1080P, at the specifically created 4:3 aspect ratio for the best shooting of desktops and objects. Additionally, the S1 Pro's EnSpire Control Puck, a dedicated remote control, makes it simple and easy for professionals to use capabilities like resizing, focusing, and muting. The Control Puck integrates with BenQ EnSpire to provide intuitive control for presentations and communications, so you don't have to worry about confusing interfaces.
BenQ Ideacam S1 Pro has been launched with a price tag of Rs 19,990. Whereas the Ideacam S1 Plus is priced at Rs 17,990. The webcam will be Exclusively available at BenQ's e-Store and via Amazon in the country.
